Can I Use the GI Bill for Culinary School?

If you are an active-duty service member or a military Veteran, a member of the National Guard or Reserves, a qualified survivor or dependent, you may be eligible for the GI Bill®. The GI Bill® helps you pay for college, graduate school, and training programs – and yes, that includes culinary school!

Help Pay for Programs

In fact, Park City Culinary Institute’s renowned on-campus programs – including classes to obtain your Professional Certificate in the Culinary Arts, Cuisine Certificate, and Pastry and Baking Certificate – are all eligible for GI Bill® funding.

Prepare for Your Culinary Journey

By getting a certificate in one of the above programs, you’ll gain the skills and knowledge needed to transition from your military career into the creative and dynamic culinary industry. There are a wide range of culinary opportunities available for people with the right training – whether you want to start your own food truck, work at a restaurant, or open a bakery.

How to Get Started

If you would like to use the GI Bill® to help pay for your culinary training, visit the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs website at https://www.benefits.va.gov/gibill to make sure you are eligible and to apply for your benefits.
