Online Pastry & Baking Program: How Does it Work?

Do you love to bake? Are you known in your family for your amazing eclairs or homemade bread? Or have you been thinking of opening your very own bakery? If so, maybe you should take your passion to the next level and get your Pastry & Baking Certificate at Park City Culinary Institute.

Whether you’re considering starting a side hustle, or opening your own bakery, our online Pastry and Baking classes are designed for all levels and will provide you with the necessary skills to give you the confidence you are craving in the kitchen. In our program, you’ll master everything from cream puffs, profiteroles, to baguettes, croissants, focaccia, and more.

Get One-on-One with a Professional Chef

While most online culinary schools provide you with videos to watch, our online courses have a more personal touch. You’ll be baking with a real, live chef who will be with you every step of the way and can help you gain the skills and techniques to rise to the next level.

During our live classes, our chef instructors will watch as you prepare your baked goods and answer any questions you may have in real time. Some schools just have an email address to send in questions as you cook – which means you probably won’t receive the help you need until long after your dish is done.

We do have pre-recorded demonstration videos for you to watch prior to each lab, but in total, nearly 75% of each class is done in a live class session. The rest of the course can be taken at your convenience.

When you are done making your pot de crème, apple tart, or whatever confection is on the course agenda, the chef will review how you did and provide you with valuable guidance.

We’re unique in that everyone of all ages or experience levels are welcome to attend. We’ve had students as young as 11 and many over 50. We’ve had students that simply want to better their skills to begin their own business, and others that already have years of experience cooking professionally but want to continue to learn and improve. Our flexible and convenient online courses allow us to work with students from anywhere!
